So, recently I asked my Facebook friends what I should make my next blog posts about, and I only got two responses. I already posted my friend Shane's request, it was my last post so go check that out. But, I didn't respond to my buddy Trey's post because I needed time to really let this subject sink in

How awesome Trey Jansing really is:
I don't think I can honestly put into words how awesome this dude is, so I'm just going to sum up my first dose of Trey...
I actually went into Trey's house before I even met him, and that might sound weird, but it's a story that isn't worth explaining. The very first thing I noticed was his wall completely covered in photos of John Wayne and the Three Stooges. All the way from the top of the couch, to the ceiling was filled with FRAMED pictures. The guy framed em' people!
The second thing I noticed were the never-ending shelves of DVDs this guy had. I immediately sat down and had to try to thumb through them all, and I soon realized that they were all in alphabetical order. I mean, at least 20 shelves of alphabetically sorted movies. The man obviously put some hard work into his video collection ya'll.
By my first two observations, I thought he could be a really awesome dude that shares my love of the movies, or he could be...creepy. For lack of a better word. (No offense Trey)

Turns out Trey is the most amazing guy on the entire planet, and he married my sister. So now he's stuck with me, cause he's in the family. He is a Disney loving, beer drinking, pipe smoking, barbecuing, john wayne loving kinda guy. And THAT'S what makes him awesome. He is not afraid to tell you exactly what he thinks of you! Which I find hilarious...other people? eh maybe not.

Honestly, I really expected this post to be longer, but Trey is awesome, simply because he is.

Hello everybody! I hope you all are doing wonderfully this week, today is actually the day that my new puppy is coming! YAAYY! I'm so excited, I can't even tell you! I'm in need of a pal these days.

So, today I am writing this as a request by my good friend Shane, and just to let you know this is a post about my personal religious beliefs and how I see it, so if that bothers you, you might not want to read this one. 

So, Shane commented on my status and told me that I should write about "substitutionary atonement," which of course I had to look up to see what it meant. I really honestly thought it was some legal term, and that Shane was just pulling my leg. Yeah, I'm a real smart one. 

BUT it turns out the meaning is so very simple:

Substitutionary is a person or thing serving in the place of another. So, like the word substitute, but more fancy. 

Atonement is a regularly used word, but I still had to look it up to see exactly what it meant. Atonement literally means amends. So, reparation for doing wrong. 

So when applied to the Christian faith, it refers to Jesus Christ dying on the cross as our "substitute." 

Just a bit of background on me for those of you who don't know, I grew up in a Baptist home and I went to a Baptist church my entire life. My family has been a  part of my church for years and years. So personally I believe that, yes, Jesus Christ was sent by the Father to die on the cross for our sins, so we as humans don't have to burn in hell. Just to put it harshly. 

When I used to think about the sacrifice made on the cross, it seemed like something out of a story book or a movie. Like, I could see it playing out in my head but I didn't ever really think about it in terms of the impact on my life, or how real it really was. But if you think about it like this;

My parents have always been the most supportive parents. I can't express in words how much they have been behind me 100%. They really love me with all their hearts and I could not ask for better parents. I just imagine them coming up to me one day and saying "Hey Hannah, you've been a really great daughter, but theres this random person that really need some help, so we are going to have to get rid of you...sorry" 

It sounds pretty comical now because it's just so unbelievable! But, think about it. The love for a child, doubled and even tripled. That's some crazy stuff. The word love gets tossed around a lot, but honestly this is the definition of love to me. The Father loved us so much that he sent Jesus (who also loved us) to die for us. So, he loved his son, but he loved us even more than that! 

I am not posting this entry to really get anyone to believe in what I do, because it won't happen that way. My faith lets me know that this "substitutionary atonement" really did happen, and it's really the greatest thing that has happened. If you don't have the same faith as I do, then maybe you don't believe this. But, this is just my take on it. 

Man, this post really made my brain hurt. Thinking about the greatness of everything I've talked about is just...overwhelming. 

I hope that you guys liked it, and I hope I said everything clearly enough to where you can tell what I mean, and also I hope that I'm even talking about the right thing!! Shane can correct me if not.

Goodnight, doesn't seem like a greeting, but it is night and I would like to wish you all well.
Thank you once again for taking the time to read my blog, I really do appreciate all the views. It makes me happy!
I just realized something a few days ago that I've really been taking for granted all these years. My family...loves me more than anything.
To sum everything up without giving too much information, I recently was in a situation where I basically turned my back on my family for reasons I'm still not to sure about. I'd rather not get too into detail because I'm really quite embarrassed by the decision I made.
But, when I finally decided that I missed my family too much, I asked to come back home. Within the hour, my sister was there to pick me up and drive me home. She had a bed ready for me to sleep in and clothes that I could borrow. My whole entire family welcomed me back with open arms, and I can't imagine why. I hurt them more than I really wish to think about, and they just let me back in, because they love me that much. They really are the best family that anyone could ask for, and I am so thankful that they are my family.
This is a very short entry today, but really I just wanted to let you all know how much I cherish my family, and how I will NEVER take them for granted again.
I hope that you guys realize how important the bond is between family members, and I hope that you show your family you love them every single day.

Hello everyone,
Just going to start this one off by saying that I am fine. For those of you who know what is going on, I'm doing well considering the circumstances, and thank you to those who have sent me a text or given me a call. I really appreciate it.
Also, I'm glad to see that my last post got so many hits. That was a very different entry for me, but I feel like everyone can relate to it, so I'm glad you all had a look at it.
I am a huge internet user. I can stay on the internet just doing random things for hours and hours on end...literally. I have Facebook and I watch YouTube videos like crazy. I enjoy the sites with stupid memes on them, I like looking up DIY projects. I pin like crazy on Pinterest. I could really do anything on the internet to occupy my time, but recently I have just become so angry at what I've been seeing.
I saw a link on my Facebook that was a picture captioned "every guy's dream girl" and of course my curiosity got the best of me, so I clicked on it.
The picture was a half-dressed girl playing some type of video game while smoking a bong.
...really?
just...really?

THAT'S every guys dream girl?

I don't even know where to begin...
First of all, how shallow do you have to be to post something like that. Honestly, if those are the two traits that every guy is looking for, then we are all doomed to hell.
whatever happened to being attracted to someone for their beautiful smile? Or their bubbly personality?
NAAAHHH, I'd rather be with a really dumb girl that smokes weed and plays video games naked in her spare time.

Also, what kind of girl poses for these pictures?
Girls, if you have any respect for yourself, just stop.
I am getting so worked up over this just thinking about it that I don't know what to say, but really there are so many really disgusting pictures out there on the internet, and the people that post them...I can't imagine how scummy they are. It almost makes me sad that this is what the world has come to. Call me "old-fashioned" but I am looking for a gentleman, and I would not even CONSIDER dating someone that just wanted a girl that smokes and plays video games. Or that posts retarded things on the internet.
My rant is now over.
I'd really like to know you guy's opinions on this topic. I mean, I've seen some pretty nasty things out there. Am I wrong?

Somedays:
you will ace multiple tests
you will take a much needed nap
your makeup and hair just work
you learn new things about yourself
you feel happy just because you are

you will make new friends

you will smile

you will laugh

you will felt loved by others
you see the beauty around you
you have no choice but to be happy
you are satisfied
you feel completely content with everything
you know that you are in the right spot and doing the right thing
you know it will just be alright...
